Wow, that was good, definitely one of the better Shikamaru and Temari ones, definitely. I enjoyed it! And, for once, I didn't have to tell somebody to open up a grammar book.
Your plot wasn't rushed, and you didn't have any OOC, or any cheesy parts, or anything. It was perfect! You strung things along perfectly, and the way moments passed between them, it was ever so beleivable.
Something that took a lot of skill.

I loved the silence in this piece - you left so many pockets of narrative pensiveness, and I feel it plays so prettily into Shikamaru and Temari's relationship. And their banter is so in-character, and I love that Temari resorted to smoking to smoke Shikamaru out - I can completely see her doing that, and it was a lovely idea when articulated. I enjoyed your prose tremendously, and I like the artistic turn in the piece, and I hope you'll write more!

Holy crap. Holy holy crap. I love this. It's edgy and kinda gritty. They seem like they've lost a little bit of the fluffy fun between them, but it's done so well that I really could care less. It seems like a much more adulterated version of them, which is a rally fun touch.
