The reason, in my opinion, that people (such as I) read and write D/C stories is because of the never ending complexities and subtleties inherent in the relationship. I mean it involves the cosmos, it parses religion, it is the definition and the battle of good and evil and most of all it is about the saving grace which is love. So, thank you for your story which encompasses so many of those facets of their intereaction with one another. Dean is light, it makes sense that Castiel falls in love with him. I love where you say Castiel is Dean's redemption and Dean is Castiel's salvation.

Cool story. The love vs lust sums up nicely my feelings on the subject. Love's too precious to waste on lust. And, hey, anyone who picks a Leonard Cohen song (Hallelujah) can't go wrong. That's my favorite song, ever. It's been covered by many many many people over the years (I'll have to look up the version you mentioned); in fact I discovered him years ago from a cover of a different song R.E.M. did. He quickly became my favorite singer/songwriter/poet. Actually, 90% of your song pics are ripped onto my laptop...and I was singing them in my brain as I was reading the words. Kudos on that as well.
