I love this kind of story. You did a great job writing this story. Brotherly love is great.

Oh boy. No one ever tried to bully me: sure there were a few jerks but no one tried to beat me up or anything even though I was no jock. I once DID deal with a bully though: he, I guess, terrorised this summer camp my boy scout troop and I were at and nobody stood up to him. He was chocking one of my acquantinces in my troop (I didn't know him too well as he was a year or two older than me, but due to this incident we became friends) and I couldn't take it and joined in. I knocked the guy over despite him being bigger than me and prepared myself to fight him even though I wasn't sure I could win. Before anything could happen though, everyone started to back me up. I guess my standing up to him broke through their fear. With everyone behind me, even people not in my own troop, he just left without a fight. I ended his reign of terror too. I became popular among my troop (didn't let that go to my head though: I never sought popularity in high school although I guess I was kinda popular, I just fit in and interacted with everyone and had friends in all the social groups including the jocks and nerds and geeks and dorks, I just could flit around and not have problems with most anyone although there were a few jerks although no did try anything until last year when me and one of the jocks I hated were working together at a summer camp, I had enough of him and nearly got into a fight with him, the group of kids he was the councilor for was cheering ME on not HIM and I decided it just wasn't worth it although he offered me a free shot (all I needed belive me, I'm pretty strong), oddly enough he never really bothered me too much after that, even left me in charge of his group once when he needed someone to cover him for a minute) and won Camper of the Year in my troop for that summer (each troop at that camp picked one at the end of each summer). We only went there a few times but they were some of the best times of my life: the next year I befriended a group of kids from another troop (we met in the parking lot and they ended up in a camp site adjacent to ours) and I became their leader even though they didn't know me before that. I was the oldest too (they were only a year or two younger) but it was still fun, I always managed to break away from my troop sometimes to hang out with them (wasn't really supposed to do that, but never got caught or bothered about it, one night that troop invited the members of my troop that weren't doing some kind of nature camp-out (camp elective of some sort) over for ice cream and pizza too) and even became best friends with one of them. He was the leader before me, but he seemed to defer to me that summer as leader. At the end of the summer he decided to introduce me to his mom but I met her even before then without realizing it: I directed her to his campsite without realizing she was his mom until he introduced me later. End of that summer we exchanged information and promised to keep in touch, we kept in touch via AIM for a while but I lost touch with him years ago. The rest said goodbye to me and we were all sad to part as we'd become good friends with each other, but all good things had to end. Only time I ever was the leader of something, really, but if I could become leader of a group of kids I'd only just met within a day or two of meeting them, I guess I could be a good leader if some kind of situation where one was required was forced upon me.

Well done! I absolutely love the way you had Riley get scared off at the end. In my mind I pictured Riley coming, angry, and then Cody standing there alone but seemingly unafraid, and then suddenly Zack silently comes into the picture behind his brother and then Riley running in fear. That was very cool, and it showed that Zack would always have Cody's back. I'm a huge sucker for that kind of stuff. Well written!

This chapter is my favorite in this story! Wow! Zack stood up for Cody and importantly, Riley will leave them alone for good! I am so relieved that Zack and Cody will have good friendship!
