Have you ever played the Fatal Frame video games? They always center around a ritual gone wrong and the feel very much like this story. Creepy and disturbing with a human heart at the center. I liked this chapter and how you are taking this. I hope you can update soon.

I love how highly sprung the SPR crew is getting over Mai (and the other students, I guess. -cough- but mostly just Mai XD), but if they get too desperate they're going to get rather reckless and mess up...hmm.

Uh, quick note, in your earlier edits of the previous chapters you used the word "principle" when it should be "principal"--just thought I'd let you know.
