SasukeBlade 2008-11-10 . chapter 1As I was reading this I was picturing it as one of the entries in the crystal chronicle. It was very interesting to see an outsider's point of view on that sort of grief, and I found myself feeling what Anais Nin felt, as described by Khetala. The line "Anaїs Nin’s numbing shock gave way to the sort of murderous anger that I never expected to see in one whose nature was normally so kind" really got to me. Maybe it was because I could just hear the sorrowful shock in her voice.
My favorite part, though, was having Anais Nin and then Khetala read the translation of the stone was also very moving. The way you broke it up, it came across as almost a conversation between the two, with Anais saying she couldn't go on and Khetala begging her to keep going.
I do have a question, though. Does Dimo Nor have feelings for Anais Nin? I've actually been wondering this for awhile, but you don't have to answer if it'll spoil another fic you have in mind. |
