M, I do love a good angsty fic. I don't read a lot of HSM stuff, but stories where Troy wants Ryan and is hurting over it are a guilty pleasure of mine.

I like that you took the five stages and made them relate to love instead if death. Very cool.

Urg, that hurts. I totally feel for Troy, as I've been in the same situation before. Although I'm not fond of Chyan, I do have this masochistic tick which makes me read one-sides Tryan stories. I dunno, I think they're the most real, I suppose.
