I was browsing and found this story and really enjoyed it. I especially liked Gaara's thoughts. Very good.

I loved it. I'm more of a Sasuhina fan, but you mastered this couple. The way you described their first two kisses was pretty much summed up how mine went, and I loved how relate-able it was.

Very nice indeed.

This is wonderful! I loved how you kept Hinata and Gaara so in character, and still so fluidly expressed how meaningful and poignant their relationship was. I especially loved your take on Gaara--his lingering worries about his humanity, his frustration with social interaction, his dealings with his family were all delightful. Kankuro, especially, was immensely fun to read. Thank you for posting this fic!

Absolutely Amazing. No words for how much I loved this. I loved how well you portrayed Gaara's inner turmoil and reasons for being. It was golden. Thank you for this piece.

This was wonderful! Hilarious and sad and just spot-on. You've nailed Gaara's voice perfectly. I think this is one of the few fics I've read where everyone is perfectly in-character, and everyone's interactions are true to who they are in canon. Kankuro's comments ("Hey, she's almost legal...come to think of it, so are you!"), Temari's sisterly advice ("dear diary..."), Gaara's grappling with his lost-humanity and Hinata being caught up in the crossfire...oh it was perfect!

I loved the little details in this, Gaara's acerbic wit, little observations like Shino waking up (perfectly lucid and annoyed to be in the middle of an international debacle), and Gaara being a naturally good statesman. This is hands down one of the best Naruto fics I've read. Seriously, thank you so much for sharing!

This is my favorite GaaraHinata fic. Even though the pairing is almost impossible, you gave it life by making them so in-character. There were some really great lines in here, too, like, "And then he was nothing but human". Great artistic piece!

Wow. This is one of the best GaaHina's I have ever read. Though you said you don't dig GaaHina, this one is damn good. Very descriptive and heartfelt. I particularly loved the last line. Awesome job!

I'm surprised you said this wasn't a pairing you did often--it was gold to me, or at least better than nine tenths of all GaaHina fics out there (seriously).

For something that's not a GaaraxHinata shipper, you did a fantastic job. The ending was wonderful and very touching, and i loved the entire structure. Gaara's perspective made me pretty emotional, to be honest.
Give yourself a pat on the back. :]

Lovely. I liked how you partitioned the story, although it was strange to have 2/about 2 of them from Hinata's POV when the rest were all in Gaara's. You tied the sections together very well, though, especially with the repetition of images and ideas (sunlight, words/communication, etc.)

There are few stories on this site that display such an in depth understanding of the human condition and are able to write with such skill. Bravo.
