This was a filler? I would have never guessed. Well, now that I think of it, it is a filler, but after not reading your story in a very very long time, this chapter helped me get reconnected to Conrad's emotions. Ooh, such an awesome chapter. I found myself reading every word you wrote instead of skipping over some parts as I do something with really detailed writing. I wonder what will happen next.

There were some little things I really loved. For instance, Conrad's realization that Yuuri was going to save HIM. I laughed at that too. Would would have ever thought, ya know?

Also, when Conrad starts to list off the connections.

"Well you see, this is the half breed Sir Weller, who is with his Holy Majesty the King, who has a brother- wait, who's brother?- yes, his Sir Weller's brother the youngest, who had been previously engaged with the King- who's uncle set up adorable Ms. Beverley and-"

Loved that.

Oh, a cliffy! Well, if the next chapter is good, I'll be patient. But if you need a little push, I'll be happy to provide.

First of all, I am so damn sorry for not reviewing the last chapter! My keyboard got damaged, and it was really really tough to type a review with an onscreen one! Still, I did read the chapter though. Maybe it's just my stupidity or your ingenuity but this chapter has really got me baffled, especially the last lines. What really is Wolfram intending to DO? Ah well, I am waiting for the next chappie most eagerly, and I hope you do consider a sequel. I LOVE THE STORY! I really wanted to give a longer review, but my exams are coming up and mom will strangle me if I sit in front of the computer for any more time! Once again, I am really sorry!:(

I have a few guesses about where this is going, but I'll stop those trains of thought and just watch the story unfold.

I have been reading this story all along, but this is the first time that I have reveiwed -- I just had to!

I just love the way that you have written the characters; you have caught their personalities to-a-tee and the seemingly 'hopelessness' of their situation. I say 'seemingly' because I hope that there are those 'working' behind-the-scenes to find some way for them to end up together in the long-run (hopefully...married?) I will wait and see where this goes, but I will warn you that I am a hopeless romantic and I like happy endings!

Cliffy! Mean of you to leave us hanging like that! But glad you updated! Here's a continuing cookie *hands cookie* Is someone going to kill Beverly? Or find a loophole that will allow Conrad and Yuuri to be together? Can't wait for the next chappter!

When I got an email for this, I screamed and woke up my parents..-Blush- But this was so worth the strange looks! Yuuri having a strong moment like this..he really has become more and more like the Maou. It's so amazing! You've managed to hit all the possible points in a character and I'm impressed once again.

I can't wait for the next update, this story has made my day everytime I've went back and reread it.

I so, so wish that I had more time to write a better review, but I don't, but I must say that I am signed up for story alerts and very, very satisfied. Anyone who would even think this would be a Wolfram-bashing story obviously can't read, so I wouldn't even worry about that. Thank you for another chapter. :) Oh, and glad to see Conrad not downing himself so much for once.

I was happy to get a email about you updating! I love the tension going on right now. I think you've developed Conrad's emotional side well. I can really relate to him.

Dear God...I hope Wolfram doesn't sacrifice himself and marry the girl in Yuuri's stead...

because that would be so utterly tragic for him. To think he loves Yuuri enough to do that...well, it's sad Yuuri doesn't return his feelings.
Gah, what am I talking about..this is a ConradxYuuri shipping fic...lol. I can't take Wolfram's side..

I'm re-reading previous chapters as a refresher. Eagerly waiting for the next installment, of course! Whoo!

Anyway, I love the beginning. Conrad thinks his crime is falling in love? *beats him over the head* Your Conrad is the most adorable angst-muffin ever. He's the epitome of "WAY TOO NOBLE, DAMN IT!" Really, the guy's like 100 years old and made completely out of **-kicking, but his emotions are so raw that I want to smoosh him to my bosom and pat his head. There there, Conrad. You'll get your happy ending. :D

I hope you do decide to update in the near future. I'm addicted.

oh my goodness this is one of the best fanfics ive ever read i printed out the whole thing so i could read it over and over and over and man i never seize to me amazed this is really good great job keep it up can't wait for the next chapter yess we love Gwendal now and i really feel like smaking yuuri on the back of the head! hopefully things will work out and the lemon is just so god so many times i almost cried in chap 8 too good i love it
