That was lovely. Sad, heartwarming and hopeful notes let the story tug at my heart. I really loved the thoughtful dialogue. The last bit made me laugh out loud. Thanks for sharing.

This is a wonderfully complex twist to a seemingly simple storyline, I am interested in where you take it and how it will turn out. I do hope you continue to let it develop.
