I haven't finished reading your story since I have to call it a night. But since I loved it so much, I went ahead and skimmed some areas and read the extremely angsty parts.

And I have to say, my heart is dying from those certain scenes. I read most of the chapter where Naruto found out why Kakashi wore a mask. You managed to keep Kakashi very in character. Instead of making him break down and cry, you illustrated his pain and suffering by finally revealing his past. I, personally, thought that the execution was perfect and very effective.

I've also managed to skim parts of the latest chapter. I'm getting bits and pieces, but something made me stop right at the flashback scene. The scene is so heart warming. I can't believe how much emotion hits me when I read Naruto saying, "Are you my new big brother?". I generally hate it when people write dialogue with incoherent, immature words, but something about that scene made it work. Instead of getting annoyed, I couldn't stop smiling at Naruto's innocent actions. And I found myself chuckling and grinning so much when Naruto found Kakashi's stuffed animal. Although I also felt a little bit sad when Kakashi lost his precious gift, I kind of fell over and died when Naruto named it 'Kashi'.
I'm actually having a really hard time describing how I feel about these parts of the story. But that's a good thing. I feel so much emotion when I read these parts, and those are the types of feelings I want to get when I read fanfiction or manga.

And I have to say, when I checked when the story was last updated, I kind of freaked out a little. Hahahah, it's been a year since an update, but I think I'm willing to wait. Once I find the time, I'll definitely read up to the most updated chapter. And I'll be sure to tell you all about my new mixed feelings. (lol
You're doing an awesome job with the story line. I'm very excited to see how the story will turn out and I'm sure the ending will be what all the readers have been anticipating.

I usually just review when I'm done with reading the whole story until the last chapter, but I wanted to tell you something. I usually don't read ANY smut, cause it makes me feel awkward, and honestly, I just DON'T need to know, ya know?

I only ever read it if it's actually written very well. And. I read this. And I didn't even feel awkward (much .). So, I just wanted to tell you, you did a REALLY good job, and on your first try too!
Just felt like complimenting you on it. It is well deserved :D

Since I have finished to translate it to the last update, I just think I should give you a better review then just a "update soon".

You are excellent in building up story structure. You put some of the important things just one or two sentences which may be easily forgotten. Just like the first time Kakashi avoid the lift and go straight down to stairs, it just so natural that no one will think about it twice. And those elements make the story become re-readable, we can have different points of view when it is read in the second time. Nowadays not much writer can do it, they just make a lot of bugs in their story and don't really care about it.

And the whole Orochimaru thing... maybe Naruto's uncle is a part of it? You haven't tell us what were the actual motives for murder of the man. And the tree mentioned in Naruto's dream in Ch.13, I can't help but connect it to the "Naruto's brother before Kakashi" and even Orochimaru himself... Also the breakdown of forces, did it also connect to the snake man and maybe Minato? You just make us think, guess, try to learn more from the story. It is great.

And the dog toy... I hope it isn't just 'popped up' in the story or perhaps the little Chihuahua is the foreshadowing?

I don't know what else I should say...I just hope that all the "Naruto's family" could have a happy life after this. I really think it is a Bildungsroman story rather than just a romance thing.

Gah!

I really wanna find out what happens next!

I really like this story even though usually I try to stay clear from the angst category, but there just aren't enough of this pairing
anyway the only thing I'm not happy with, well things are that Orochimaru suddenly getting up and kidnapping Naruto just like that was a really bad turn for me, the couple could have gotten a little more time together and the way they are so vulnerable...I just don't like it. The other thing is Kakashi's reaction, being like a lunatic, don't misunderstand me I can understand why he became like that, that just doesn't mean I like it.

Anyway good work and I hope to read more from you soon)

I finally finished this chapter! After nearly a month of on and off reading, I did it! This was spectacular. Words cannot describe how happy and satisfied I am at this moment.

Once again, you have written another exceptional chapter.
My favorite part was right at the very end when Shikamaru hacked into the ANBU's database. Love that sneaky genius. Thanks again for a chapter full of entertainment, drama, and just plain awesomeness! :D
