And I love the fact that they BOTH had this thought, each about the other: "...If I were Bella, (Edward) I'd take care of myself. I'd keep myself safe. I'd listen to him (her)because I know how much it hurts when you're afraid of losing the one you love..."

But this one was the best: " ...Nothing can hurt me, but she could destroy me..,."

I really enjoyed this one-shot. It truly is from other works I've read from you, but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. I like how each of them are so in character with each other that they actually talk as if they were the other person. For example when Bella says: "If I were Edward, I'd take care of myself. I wouldn't take chances. I'd listen to her, because I know how much it hurts when you're afraid of losing the one you love." and when Edward says: "If I were Bella, I could kiss him with all my heart. I wouldn't have to hold back because I'd know he'd never let me go too far." It really shows how much they are engrossed with each other and how each of them views the other.

It's really amazing to see how complex these characters really are when they seem so simple and easy to figure out. I think this is one of the pieces in which Bella and Edward's relationship grows stronger just by means of a simple conversation and lots of thought into it.

I think I'm finished reading all of the one-shots. Now, I'm going to start with the multi-chapter stories. :)

I love the way you've mirrored their thoughts and feelings - and was surprised at how similar their issues/worries are - the feeling of not being good enough for the other - the fear of loosing the other - like "I'd listen to him/her, because I know how much it hurts when you're afraid of losing the one you love" - and "but I'm just Edward/Bella". Most of all "maybe some day you'll understand". At the end of Breaking Dawn, I think they finally got there - but this glimpse into their minds was beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Paula

I loved it. It is really interesting to read and I could definitely imagine Bella and Edward thinking those thoughts and saying those things. It shows clearly how self-conscious they both are and how doubtful they are of each other's love. It has been amazingly well written.
