I am dying for the update, i really love this story honestly its so different but i love it.

I have greatly enjoyed watching these polar opposite beings on the surface dive below appearances and find that there is someone there to befriend, to care for...potentially to love.

They were united by suffering and a lifestyle. Now it will be interesting to see how they deal with and explore other core differences that can break a couple that is not strong enough in it's communication and tolerance.

This story is great! I am learning a ton about vegans, had never even heard about "straight edge" and love watching the drama unfold! Can't wait for ur next chap!

I really love this story and I love how you show both sides on so many topics. I'm a Christian and my hubby was Wiccan when we got togeather and it can work even if you are not of the same faith with respect. I can't wait to see Edward and Bella work out there problems.

I like how you show in this story that personal views are not always black and white. If one believes this way, then he/she should also believe in these other ways...not always true. I admit, I hesitated to read this story. The vegan lifestyle, is...interesting to read about. I am not a vegan but I am not opposed to seeing or at least trying to understand another person's viewpoint. Oh, and Edward with that tatoos...HOT! Hopefully Bella will stop eating her "bitter pills" and open her eyes (and mind) a little bit! Such an interesting story!

What an amazing story - I've just read all 19 posted chapters straight through, and I can't wait to see where this is going! I thought the premise was great - Repub. vs. Democrat - lots of room for disagreements of opinion, interesting dialogue; but this exceeded all expectations.

I've even learned a few things - I didn't even know there was a "straight edge" community among young people - I was obviously ahead of my time! And to even think about a Christian Vegan Straight Edge Hardcore band - it boggles the mind!

Having just read everything all at once, I will say I found Bella less than sympathetic in the beginning of this fic - I guess I wish I'd had the explanation that her being constantly attacked at high school caused her to come up with an "attack first" strategy earlier than it came in your story, because then she was immediately identifiable to me, even if she handled it differently than I did.

I'm a lot older than Toneward - and I'm just now figuring out how to merge who I am with who I've always been expected to be. I'm glad he didn't waste as many years as I did playing two different people - it's exhausting mentally and emotionally - you're doing a wonderful job depicting a total overload and the struggle that it is to come up out of the depths of that emotional quagmire.

I've been so pleasantly surprised by this story! I read TOFTT on mrs. robward's rec from her favorites list, and found DoG when I took a peek at your profile. I think I like this one much more than TOFTT - it's so much more soulful. While smut has it's place, THIS is what I love to read, what fills up my engine. Thanks so much!

Like the story...slow..like really slow but it's fun to get the different POV's.

Great chapter. I really liked how the time at the radio show began for them - trying to stop themselves from being distracted! I was glad that Esme came to show her support to Edward. I like how the chapter ended - and I wonder what they will do from here.

this story has been on my To-Read list for a while and I'm glad I'm finally reading it! One of me good friends is vegan and she introduced me to a lot of vegan food that I really like...it's funny cuz vegans DO obsess over food LOL.

I'm so glad Edward and Alice had a talk. Alice is such a good friend trying to look out for Edward and all but she has to see that not everyone who isn't in love with Jesus at the moment is bad. Besides religion isn't everything and I am completely against the idea that you can't date out of your faith. I just wish Alice would come out of that pig-headed idea and be more accepting of others. I hope her and Bella become friends as well because you can tell she is an incredibly passionate protector of the people she loves. She reminds me a lot of Emmett in that way.

And Esme is such a sweetheart. If I person had to pick a step mom I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't want her. Now if Carlisle could just get his thumbs out of his ass and win her back then that could be a reality. I can't imagine how much courage it would take to waltz into your quasi-boyfriends son's (who may or may not hate you)place of work and tell him more or less that you think his dad is being a dick but you want to be with him and also you want to help said son reconnect with the dad and be himself in any way possible. She truly is just a very good person.

And Finally (to end this epically long ass review) it's nice to see Edward (not Tony) with Bella and have them not be fighting. They have come so far since their first class together it's incredible. I just hope whatever is in the cards for them makes it possible for them to see past all their differences and get to the parts that really count.
