wow! your story is really good.
its kind of a bit too close to the original at the beginning of the story, but it is slowly getting away from that, which i think is good. i mean, i know the whole thing is going to, partially, be alot like twilight, but i think that it is good to show that you can write that high standard of writing as well.
i love the whole mystery thing with Raina, its really hooked me onto the story, and i hope you will update soon! hmm, what is raina... well hehe, i think that she is a selkie... or maybe thats what you want us to think...
um, towards the parts where alice acts 'weird' it might be good to have an alice POV, although it could be hard. i just think that it would be good to have some idea to what alice was thinking, maybe not all of her thoughts, just enough to make your readers jump to their own conclusions and then, BAM! you can surprise them... lol, just suggestions.

Okay, I've finished my homework; I can now read with abandon! Don't be surprised if you don't get a review for every chapter; I'll be flying through them :). One thing I noticed in this chapter is that you've been spelling and using the word "albeit" wrong. Since it means "even if," you don't have to put "if" before it. Like, "It was only a face - albeit a pretty one to gaze at." Aside from that, it's perfect! I can't wait to read more.

Hey, remember me? I finally got around to starting this fic and I'm so sorry I did! It's almost physically painful to tear myself from my computer now! The first thing that I noticed is that you have a very clear writing style. After reading dozens of badly written, grammatically incorrect stories on this site, it pleases me immensely to come across one like this. Also, I like that Raina has her own story to tell; she isn't just an empty character you constructed to retell Edward and Bella's story. I can guarantee you that while I'm doing my homework, I'll be simultaneously sneaking back to this story ;).
