St PA 8/2/10 . chapter 1 Enjoyed this story. You seem to have embodied Carter's sentiments and personality accurately. One thing bothers me though. When Carter said LeBeau was cooking a huge turkey dinner for BARRACKS TWO what about the other prisoners. What kind of celebration are they having, if any? I would have preferred to see that there was a special turkey dinner waiting for everyone (non-Americans too, if they wanted to partake) in the Mess Hall. That would have been the icing on the cake (pie, as Carter would say) for me knowing ALL the prisoners were enjoying the special day in a special way. |
ShakNali 10/6/08 . chapter 1Nice! It's always good to be reminded of our blessings. |

Skybright Daye 11/23/01 . chapter 1Wonderful! Peppered with lovely humor (letting the firemen have some turkey. heehee) and at the same time, a very thoughtful and sincere fic. Really captures Carter's personality. all in all, a wonderful fic! |
Kits 11/22/01 . chapter 1Charming, simply charming! I loved your little inserts of humor into there, and at the same time maintain a quality of Thanksgiving cheer, and a sense of thankfulness! Again: We have Carter, we have Hogan, and we have Newkirk. All we need is LeBeau and Kinch, and you could have a fanfiction called "Thanksgiving Special". I'm so proud of you! *beams* Of you all! Y'all have done such a great job with these!
