Angsty, yes, but a semi-positive ending. (Watched up to ep 7 of StrikerS by this point, so not gonna try to figure out the problem. What's given is enough, anyway.) To me, Nanoha has always faced things straightforward, with the power of her feelings and stuff, but in a darker interpretation, I could see someone in her position struggling under whatever pressures, if she didn't have her bestest buddy to share her soul with. But, glad to see Fate offer herself for Nanoha, because they're cute like that.

Well-written, dramatic, sad, touching, and overall a good read.

okay i THINK i know what is going on. my mind is picking up the point that Nanoha is dying but i don't know for sure. i'm still greatly confused by this story but i believe Nanoha is dying and Fate knows it can't be avoided and it will end up with Fate being broken.
I hope you reveal the issue soon because i'm not sure if i'm right. it's so mind boggling.

Darn, I can't figure out the issue. At first I thought it was the three letter word that starts with S and ends with X (and PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong cause I have no idea if I'm right or it's just my non-existent perv-ness going strong). In fact, I thought it was /that/ from the beginning to the end. It's only after I read the other reviews that I start to doubt my er weird (?) judgement. WHAT IS IT! D
Anyway, on to the review-y part of the review.

VERY in character as usual, you seem to do it with ease. The whole piece is really effective with all the questions (MOSTLY UNANSWERED *COUGH and one liners. Nanoha hiding everything is so like Nanoha and Fate is just awesome cause Fate is Fate :D :D

I've been reading it, over and over again. The only issues I can think of are Nanoha's injuries(but then it'd be more clearly alluded to), the Fate/Signum thing I was guessing about(but then it doesn't fit.) D
Fate has her own issues(with Hayate's enquiries) and Nanoha has her own issues(with dropping everything.) But you sort of wrapped everything up nicely with Fate's assurance. And so very in-character again, if I'm allowed to point that out. :3

So, great job, it was an enjoyable read. :D

Yes, I was confused, yet I could feel Nanoha’s pain.

Fated tried so hard to understand Nanoha’s heart that she couldn’t see the truth behind those eyes, so crystal clear like water. It pains me for now not being able to know what’s going on with her, but I guess when you tell us the answer, that uncertainty will make sense.

correct me if i'm wrong but is Nanoha in the hospital because of some sickness or something? and she doesn't want to burden anyone because of it? pretty vague but i read it twice and i think i get a hint that there was something troubling them and the fact is that they don't want to accept that fact(whatever the reason nanoha is emotional for) that is why they put up the lies and the hinting of nanoha in a bed and fate visiting her is something like that she was hospitalized for some reason adding the hayate part and fate unintentionally seeing her cry and put the two together and there you have it, the story and the plot.

And if it's really that, then I think it's a good idea and the relationship between Nanoha and Fate is very nice(sorry for my poor english :p it's difficult for me to explain what I think, but I love it It's really cute and I hope it will be a very good next part _ ! Good work )
