It's great that Jess is able to tell her story and give Don advice from a little sister's perspective. The backstory you gave her was very interesting. I loved that part in the end with Jess' brother too.

Great to see a new story from you :D I really enjoyed this, perfectly Flack and Angell and such a good story. Very fitting for them both to be comparing brother and sister stories, and I like how you kind of turned it around from Flack needing reassurance about his younger sister, to Jess realising what her elder brother has done for her, that was very skillfully done. I think that's a strong connection between them, both with sibling pressures in a way - although Flack is the protective older brother and Jess is the younger sister (kind of in Samantha's role) who can feel pressured by her big brothers.
Loved how you opened the story with them meeting for breakfast, and Jess feeling happy that Flack wants to share some of his private life with her.
The story that Jess tells Flack was also very good, and I could imagine her character acting in that way - wanting to be independent, and perhaps a bit reckless. I loved the characters you created too of her brother, and even Tommy. Just a few liens and you brought them to life, I chuckled at Flack being relieved that he didn't have to go and beat up Tommy. Very Flack - fiercely protective. The ending was just right, I really liked that Jess made the phonecall. Excellent story! Please write some more soon :)
