Aw! That was so sad and sweet. Not many people seem to write about Lucy/Daniel and I'm glad you did. I'll admit that I don't often give much thought to Lucy's grieving process after Daniel dies; I mean, other than the funeral the movie skips over it entirely and doesn't offer much to go on. You did this really well and it was nice to read a different sort of ATU fic. Very nice.

That's a good story. But I think Daniel died in 1967, around the same time as the Detroit riots.
