I love this side of Kelly and wish she would be more like this on the show. I liked how she sees through Ryan's fake charm but on the other hand wants him to be that guy she fell in love with again. I've always liked her character (probably because of my love for Mindy Kaling) and wanted her to make Ryan fight for their relationship longer than she did. Maybe she'll get sick of him this time, and reverse the equation of their last breakup! Wouldn't that be fun to see... You're making me think, thanks for writing about The Office!

Let me just say... I don't like Ryan/Kelly. And I hate how they got together again in the series (probably because it killed the tiny spark of hope I was nursing for my non-canon OTP, but that's another story...).

I loved this fic.

I've gotten so fond of "Fancy New Kelly" and her kick-** attitude. She went from this chipper, hyper little thing to a smack-talking, take-no-prisoners woman in a relationship that seemed reasonably healthy and rehabilitating (if only temporary, because... Who was expecting that to work out? Seriously.). And now Ryan's back and I will bet you cash money she's regressed to the exact same state as before.

I loved how you still had her be kick-** and independant, and how you got into her head about why she liked Ryan before, and why she doesn't (or shouldn't) like him anymore. New Ryan is so fakey and two-faced, and he's obviously trying to get back with her to prove something rather than out of genuine desire.

I was a little ticked that she didn't get to tell him off in a big scene, but life's like that, and mostly you don't get to say what you want to or how you want to say it. I was so glad she did speak her peace to him, and that she almost ran his feet over. He deserves it.

Great job on how you consistantly nailed Kelly's tastes. I love writing her, but I'm always just a little lost on her up-to-the-second pop culture awareness. I live under a rock...

I liked this resolute, girl-power Kelly. It is not wrong to love someone just because, and she used to love Ryan just because. But when when she got with Darryl, she was committed to that relationship. But I don't think she ever loved Darryl like she loved Ryan.

I am really curious to see what they are going to do with these two now. I totally get that Ryan was pursuing her for the ego trip of stealing another man's girl (and a girl that he knows he totally has emotional power over), but i would have like to have seen their affair go on a little longer behind Darry's back. Regardless of his motives, I liked seeing Ryan woo her.
