Wait... that's the end!?

I thought this 'final chapter' was very good! Peter's tug of war with his feelings about Olivia, his father, the work he's doing, and where he is in his life, was very touching and I felt for him. It was fascinating!!

Wonderful! I love the way you hang it carefully on canon, and the dialogue is spot on.

Aw... concerned, protective Peter. Blaming himself, what if-ing to death. The guy just carries angst so well and you gave him plenty. But not overdone to the point of brooding. Nope, you left him sensible and wondering if he deserves to be that smart.

Loved his "indulging in a little “physical therapy,” and of course, your reminder of the likely consequence. Plus, it was a fine way to weave this Tess that we know so little of (yet understand some of her significance) into his thought process with Olivia.

Very in-depth, which of course you're famous for. Plus you hit all the points (like the anger with underlying jealousy of John) and YES, it was in character! Sick of hiatus? You got it, sista!

Aw, that was lovely. I think you kept them in-character quite nicely, in my opinion. I expecially loved how Olivia thinks Peter doesn't care for her as much as he really does. And yes, I really do agree with you about the bit about the hiatus. I can't wait til the show comes back on. -Favoriting-

I love how you went into Peter's feeling for Tess and mirrored that against his feelings for Olivia. And Peter dealing with his guilt and thinking about the repercussions of his actions was just great. You nailed his voice.

Wow, wow, wow! This is one of the best chapters of Bolivia fanfic I have ever read.
There are TONS of great similies here. And the metaphor of his new-found trust and mutual alliance being likened to an ill-fitting coat is superb.

I love how you keep going back to the cause and effect theme.
If not with Tess, then Olivia not in tank.
"If he hadn't stayed, then he wouldn't care this much. But he won't let himself think through that particular logic." Yes! Because then he'd realize that only the contrapositive of that statement is true.

And "...another psychadelic mind-f.."Can I quote you on that? So well said.

What I love most of all is Peter's inner commentary on John Scott. Discovering that he suddenly hates John Scott(so glad somebody finally mentions it in this fandom),recognizing that Scott has been a player of a higher caliber than Peter has ever been, and has hurt Olivia, the extent of which is yet to be determined.

Yes, this is a truly great read, and you are a great writer. I sure do hope you stay comfortably(not uncomfortably) obsessed with Fringe and will write more Bolivia in the extremely near future during this ridiculous hiatus.

Have you been hanging around the TV set of this show? It's like these characters stepped off the TV screen and right into your story! You're really an amazing writer, Mel! Multi-layered and very intriguing are these characters, and you've nailed it!! Can't wait to see where you lead them. Fascinating the way Olivia just sits back and observes... something she would do! And Peter, softening just a bit, toward her and his father! Very nice!
