Just heartwarming and brilliant. I know that Haruhi still gets teary-eyed over her mother's death. Seeing this vulnerable side of Haruhi is a rare treat. I also liked how you integrated Tamaki's presence and concern for her. He can sympathize a little since he can't see his mother either. And it was a good choice of song for this particular fic.
