I have been reading a couple of HP-Avengers crossovers and saw your story. I've enjoyed reading about Harry and Hermione's interaction with SHIELD. I hope you come back to this story..I would love to see the changes in Harry and how he deals with Voldemort and the DE's now.

I've not read much of the Marvel universe and had to actually use Google to determine who the Hulk was. I'm old. Sue me.

Regardless, while I like the story and where it appears to be heading, I have to say a "Gamma bomb" in the real world would not be a bomb giving off limited focus gamma radiation as its only byproduct, regardless of what any fiction might state (I know, Clell - it's your story and a fine one at that). I would like to think its just a convenient name thought up by frustrated scientists who were tired of trying to explain unstable wavefront energies dispersed at FTLIA velocities in advance of the thermal pulse. Said energies are, by their very nature, unpredictable, beyond measuring and beyond analysis. Even the components of a convention 3- or 4- stage fusion device have unstable components whose effects we cannot quantify, mostly because the instrumentation is completely destroyed by the unstable energies right before the thermal pulse and overpressure wave convert them to windstrewn smoke and ash.
