sweetyamiyugigirl 2009-11-24 . chapter 11^^ this was a nice fic. I like how your fics seem to throw the characters into massive amounts of trouble, tear each other apart, then gently, sweetly get them to be nice to each other at the end.. Very good. |
 batSkull 2009-10-15 . chapter 11God.
You're so freakin' awesome, dude.
Really. |
XsinglovelivedanceX 2009-06-03 . chapter 11Please write a new story! i love your stories, they are the best on fanfiction. |
Alarda 2009-04-26 . chapter 11Sorry for not reviewing sooner, but i never got round to actually read this piece properly before now...
Anyways, I'd like to drop you a not, as usual. :-)
You've done a great job with this story, again.
I liked the part of BEN dragging LUKE along into some crazy mischiefe. Who would have thought?!
Also, I liked the part with Vader realising is son was dangerously ill, and not able to stay with him. Sending
him off while having to stay at Vanbane himself must have been very, very tough indeed. Though he's sending him with the best pilot he's got, it must be tough for him. Propably wishing with every fiber of his beeing to be able to go with his son in that moment.
It's just so ironic that look, for all his envying Ben for beeing huged so often by his father and his showing him his love so openly, doesn't realise, that his own father does that too, in his way. I mean, all the times Vader is placing his hand on Lukes shoulder, or rufling his hair troughout your force bond series... It's really something like his mute way of saying, 'I love you' in a way. Of coursse, he wouldn't tell him. But if you look at it propperly, there are a lot of hidden kinds of affection.
Only poor Luke doesn't realise, poor guy. :D
As for his wanting his dad to hug him more often: I rather think HE should initiate them more often. If Luke got into the habbit of hugging him on a regular basis, dear old Vader wouldn't have a coicebut to get used to it.
I also often think his feeling uncomfortable with Luke hugging him, is partially because he is so totaly unused to that. I mean, Lukes mother must have been the last person to that, and here he is aout 15 years after that, beeing unused to thse kind of endearment... But if Luke where to do it , he'd propably settle into it, as he does with Lukes other displaays of his affection for him.
Thats speaking of the enter series in perspective, of course, but I dare say you won't mind my stating this opinon here, will you? :-)
As for poor Doc. Leson... It's also kinda funny. Being called every half hour or so from Lord D.V , demanding an update on his sons progress...
But I liked it very much when he told Luke he made him realise that is father was very much a vulerable human being. And he's very right of course about Luke making his father strive to live up to Lukes expectations, in a way. He wouldn't admit it, but he does try to be the fatherhe feels Luke deserves.
You know, I think the way you portray him often enough his so cute in a way. Really sweet in its own right. And yet you still keep true to him. Really, if I recall that very first image ov Vader in Force Bond 1: Vader storming into this senetors office and breaking this datapad right under his nose, telling him he won't read a report with a thousand pages. *rofl* Thats so like him! You're really so good portraying him. I've read so many star wars fiction, being disapointed about his portrayal, or interpretation, or how else you wanna call it. (and worst of all is in my eye the book 'Splinter ofthe minds eye' by Allan Dean Foster! Horrible. That wasn't like Darth Vader at all in my oppinon! the only good moment is the comment ' Grammel, you're abhorrant to me!'- excuse me, this is just a translation, I read this book in my native german, and here the fphrase is ' Grammel Sie sind mir zuwieder!' since I only got that to go on, you'll excuse this little translation of mine. I'm sure you know the book, as you like Darth Vader very much as well. )
So, I hope you keep on writing! I'd like to read more from you. I re-read parts of this ongoing serie f yours every once a while... I hope you'll post a new story soon! |
 TardisIsTheOnlyWayToTravel 2009-04-23 . chapter 11awesome. :) |
chisscientist 2009-03-17 . chapter 3The empire's use of the fear of parents for their children and setting children to informing on each other reminds me very much of the Nazis during world war two. They used similar tactics as I'm sure you already know. It works very well in this story. |
Supersiss 2009-02-18 . chapter 11I now, I repeat myself, but I JUST LOVE YOUR STORIES!!
Please, promise me you'll never stop writig!!
Thanks a lot, lots of love |
Jelp 2009-01-04 . chapter 11 Artoo would go after Threepio and find him. I love that little guy.
Anyway, back to the more prominant roles of Luke and Vader - as always I love how you portray their relationship. Luke is reckless, naive, but still very warm and caring. Vader does his best to pretend he's stoic and uncaring, when in reality, he probably risks more for Luke than most parents do, making sure Luke is his top priority versus the rest of the galaxy.
Excellent job, as always, and I look forward into reading whatever story you have planned next! ~ Jelp |
Comme il Faut. Betsuni 2009-01-03 . chapter 1Wow...just yeah wow...You are an amazing writer and all of these stories you write are incredible! I mean I love ever single one, they put make me so happy and everyone else so happy!
You keep everyone in character and even some of the ones that you yourself created are very wonderful! In fact I get attached to each and every one of these stories!
Oh and I do love the Luke/Vader Relationship you create, I really wish George Lucas had gone with your ideas sometimes instead of the original!
I hope you write more!~Sora |
Jules-foil 2008-12-30 . chapter 1Another fabulous addition to the Force Bond saga! I think I ask this after every story you finish, but I have to know if you have other stories planned for the future? Maybe you should just start having an announcement at the end of each story...I'm sure lots of other people bug you with that question too. And if they don't, the should. |
I love dance 2008-12-27 . chapter 9Amazing job as always!! Eagerly awaiting more! :) |
 stupid thing 2008-12-25 . chapter 11Hi,
I love it. Really your fic is typical. Only your characters can misinterpret sth and end in a warzone unharmed (only with a rash =))
And now we know a bit about Ben's mother.
bye
your stupid thing |
cimmer 2008-12-24 . chapter 11I like Luke's effect on Vader along with the droids, who also help out in their own unique way. Vader is becoming much more relaxed about being a neurotic parent or maybe I should say that he's just given in up in defeat. I suppose it's a good thing he doesn't have hair because it would be going grey. It's not easy being he parent of a Skywalker. |
SubtleFighter 2008-12-23 . chapter 11I really liked the conversation between Ben and his father, but I'm alittle confused about the Wivvans. So this other local population they bred with weren't human?
I love seeing Vader's concern for his son, but I had to chuckle when I read this: "That sounded like something only an obsessed neurotic would do. 'Very well,' Vader said."
Great ending :) |
 blank101 2008-12-23 . chapter 11Yaay!
Another great story, well writen, with a warmth and a charm that you always seem to conjure so effortlessly, though I'm sure endless hours of hard work went into them. It's a tribute to your talent that they always seem so spontaneous.
As ever, I'm eager for more. |
