Not always exactly poetry, but beautiful nevertheless, especially the first and last paragraphs. Of course Mal will worry about the fundamental differences between them, and a lot more than Polly will. Being human, she cannot really understand the full implications. Have you ever considered that Polly inviting Mal to bite her might be solution?

I'm not sure if I'm laughing or crying. It's not exactly poetry but it's beautiful.
