Oh my goodness I adored! The heat, the passion, the flirtiness between them was all so palpable!

And once again, I am astounded by how well you know and write these characters. I love how she took him off guard. How she had him unnerved with her silence as he had no clue what she was going to do. Her kissing him really was probably the last thing he expected.

Then, one of my favorite lines was how her dictating that kiss on her own terms caused the pride and defiance in him to act rather than walk away which is what he would've done had he been able to think clearly and rationally like the ruler he is going to be.

And I love that she clouds his brain like that and makes him act without thinking. :)

Too funny how he turned the tables on her. I love that she walked away unable to say a word!

And the part about how they should start sparring again and that ending line. Oh too perfect a note to end on! =)
