erm, why does rain keep Aideen and Lorcan from messing about with the sails? Also, if it did rain and they were running out of water, why didn't they collect the rain water so they could replenish their stores? In a land without the industrial revolution, rain would be perfectly safe to drink . . . ?

In all honesty, i haven't enjoyed a story this much in a long while before coming across this one.
it is simply brilliant, as near perfection a fanfiction can get. it has the perfect blend of authenticity, humor, subtle romance, plot and the switches of point of views. not to mention the canon characters are spot on. and personally your original characters are simply brilliant, very endearing amusing and relatable! brilliant job once again and i do hope you update soon. best of luck!

I love the Edmund/Aideen moment. And it seems so characteristic of both of them to cut it off so awkwardly. :P

Oh, I liked this chapter. I have a bit of a bad feeling about the island... but then, I've been wrong before. More often than not, actually. :)
Anyway, I'm sorry that I didn't review sooner than this - I didn't even realize that you'd posted it!

P.S.: I didn't much like the movie. Not only did it stray from the books, but it seemed really jerky to me - if you didn't follow books, I felt like it might have been hard to follow. I was sorta disappointed. I'd give it a five too, because there were some okay parts - I actually liked how we sort of built on Draco's character a bit; before he was just a stupid villain - now he's a character.

I have been greatly enjoying your story. I noticed it's been more than 2 months since you updated, is that correct? I hope you haven't abandoned it, because it really is worth finishing.

I can tell you're trying hard to make Aideen her own character and NOT a Mary Sue, which I really appreciate. Your characters are well-drawn in general and you have a gift for writing dialogue. You may want to try to keep slang out of the characters' speech, I doubt the Pevensies and others would be using modern-day language.

However, all in all, you have a talent for writing an enjoyable story with well-developed characters. I like the Marshwiggle a lot, and am delighted to see Aideen becoming more 'girly' as time goes on. Let's hope Lorcan doesn't notice, eh? :-)

Hope to read more of this soon, and that real life doesn't keep you from finsihing a promising story!

Hey, sorry I haven't reviewed in a while. For some reason I stop getting emails saying that there were updates, so I just read the three chapters I was behind on.
so they're finally on dry land. Are the people of the island making them drink something that will make them want to stay forever? It doesn't look good.
Personally, I think either Edmund or Aideen should wish that they could be together. That would be lovely! Oh, and I loved that part where they had their very awkward conversation on the boat!

I love this story. It's complex, but not confusing. I like how Edmund and Aideen actually have a friendship. Lorcan is a wonderful charater as well!
I'm slightly suspicious about this Island of Good Things...
Room of Requirement meets island in Pirates of the Caribbean?

I'm liking the romance between Aideen and Edmund still, that little bit about Aideen's hug amused me, and I'm interested about what's going to happen with Dathri and Mina.
Also, I also would give HP6 a five, for that same reason. What was up with the Death Eaters burning down the Burrow? That didn't happen! That was just random. I did, however, find the dialogue/acting quite amusing. Especially Harry on Lucky Potion.

On the down side, I've forgotten to check for updates, for the longest time and now I'm behind and it's almost midnight and The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe is on Disney Channel but I'm not watching it because I'm reading this and I've seen it fifty times, anyway.
On the plus side, I've got lots of chapters to read, and of all the stories on that I like (and there are more than your average reader) this is the only one that I like enough to keep coming back to periodically.
I love it. I'm loving the characters, the originals and how you write Lewis's, they're still in character but you've made them distinct, and that's what fanfiction is about-and I love the romance. It gives me that happy, fluttery feeling in my heart.
Wow, that was corny. Whatever, it's the truth. I love it, can't wait to read more...and I don't have to.

Great chapter! I thought you really did a great job capturing the way the characters would think, act, and be like. I especially loved the small bouts of Aideen vs. Mina rivalry (and hope there's a bit more in the future) along with the brother-sister love that continues to be portrayed between siblings. I enjoyed seeing Susan's discernment with Gusta (great name) and Peter's sending Aral in. I hope they keep Aral and fully prosecute Ms. Doone. Ugh! :P
Can't wait for the next chapter. I can already see an opportunity for you to make it difficult for the crew to get off the island!

Hmm, an island of good things... I like that! Although it might seem a little creepy after a while, with everything you need just appearing like that.
And I loved Susan doing the right thing. A lie? Uttered by the Gentle Queen's very mouth? Gasp!

The story has gotten really interesting now with this magical isliand and the dream with aslan! I had no idea where you were going for a while ther with the pirates but im intrigued now with all these new developments! I havent seen the new harry potter film yet but i cant wait!! You cant really blame them the books were so good that nothing they could have done would match it so its good there kinda taking it from a different angle!
