Short and sweet. Even though it's brief, it offers an unending glimpse into Acorn's situation. The fear is real.

That was, on the whole, a very good story. The part with Henrietta was kind of annoying-the attempts at humor seemed forced and the accent was indeed irritating. (Just what kind of accent were you trying for anyway?) But the rest of the story was marvelous. King Acorn is well-characterized, and his reaction to the silence is very well-done. The writing style is good, and the descriptions of the Void are eerily beautiful. The whole thing has a marvelously surreal feel to it, and it's not quite like any other Sonic story I've ever read. You really bring the Void to life here. Rating: 9 out of 10
