The story of Anakin Skywalker is a sad one, and one that could have been prevented in some ways.
Beautifully done. Keep writing!

The first one stuck out to me most, the thought that Anakin had taken Qui Gon's last words from him.
I like the effect that Anakin's contemplative interjections had on each particular scene.
It's so easy to imagine these taking place. Attachment was something Anakin never truly learned to let go of, and doubtless they must have faced conflict over it.
Thanks for this fic!

Huh. Where have I been? RL has been an absolute stinker lately, but I'm pleased to have caught up with these stories. A warning ... all dialogue stories are an addiction! I was in a fandom for old-time radio a long time ago and the lure of an all-convo fic never fails to draw me in. This story is truly touching, not just the terrific last line, but the working through of the process that Anakin has, realizing things about love and its manifestations. Merry Boxing Day!

Aww. Thi was so sweet.

Especially loved this part:

"The first time I ever bested him in a duel was the time that I killed him.

He let me win."

Beautiful.

This was really beautiful, I loved it!

I think my favourite ones were:

I: I think Qui-gon's death haunted Obi-wan very much and it did not fade for years.

IX: That was simply amazing. It sent shivers down my spine.

XII: It might be short, but it has something that just makes me like this. Maybe it's Anakin's childish side that never faded.

XIV and XV: Last but not least, the lovely conclusion.

Great job!

Beautiful. This was wonderfully written and moved me to tears. You have a very powerful writing style and manage to say all that needs to be said in just a few words.

"the blood of his father"--meaning Qui-Gon as Obi-Wan's father figure?

This didn't pull at my heartstrings untill "I had expected this to have significance to him. It did not."

You write a very intelligent Anakin, which I don't know that I do. XD It didn't entirely mesh with how he felt to me in the movies.

I wonder, do most children in their sleepless nights think "D'you think I'm dying?" It seems a very universal and poignant thing to me.

"I didn’t realise until well over twenty years later that the only one holding me back was I." Shouldn't that last "I" be "me"?

XII packed a punch.

Interesting ending, as though all the Force is is a great distillation of being.

Not bad.
