 M. Night Wolfalona 2009-11-08 . chapter 1Awoh...what a sweet story, with a wonderful ending. Keep it up. |
Zoi no miko 2009-07-31 . chapter 1Oh thank you, this is so lovely. :D They have a fabulous chemistry, and it's very interesting to think of Glitch as a mute. Somehow it makes their interactions more insightful. :) |
Quackerjack-Queen 2009-04-20 . chapter 1I absolutely LOVE this! I love it so much I really can't go into detail about what parts I loved the most because the just...loved it all. You characterization was wonderful, it flowed smoothly...wonderful. And I can't help but wonder if there's going to be more to it or if it was a one shot. or not, because it doesn't say it's complete, but it read kind of like a one-shot. I, for one, would love to see what kind of new things Cain's return brings. How Ambrose/Glitch (depending on the hour) carries one, what thousand things clicked into place, how Cain reacts to being back in the palace. More on Az's character development... I think I'll add this to my alerts just in case you decide to write more one it. :3 |
Sparta 2008-12-12 . chapter 1I love all the tellagrams & Letters I laughed so hard, more please |
HarmonyMarguerite 2008-12-10 . chapter 1Oh goodness, you have dragged me out of lurking on Glitch_Wyatt. I can't tell you how much I absolutely LOVE this story. You've captured the characters in a very real and tangible way. Most of the time, we're all just a little left of sane, and the struggle of picking the pieces up really comes through. I ADORE the communication between Ambrose and Cain, how Ambrose knows what Cain is doing, or close enough to point him towards the way, and Cain says so much with so little. "Still lost, but I think I've got a map now."
Oh, I love the line, "He didn't say goodbye to Glitch because he was the only one that Cain was afraid would convince him to stay." My heart skipped a beat, with the culmunation of the imagry drunk!Cain is recalling and that one line. Oh! Beauty. You've captured heartache, pain, friendship, joy, and the difficulty of rebuilding with a deft touch and a wonderful lightness of humor. (I say that to point out my OTHER most favorite line, which was "but you knew which way was up and I suppose, in the case of the Northern Palace, which way was down") Ah, now that I have rambled forever, I hope you can forgive me, but I really enjoyed this story. So... WAS there going to be more? Even if there isn't Thank you for a beautiful piece.

Cantar 2008-12-08 . chapter 1This was an awesome story! At first I was disappointed that Glitch/Ambrose couldn't talk but you did such a great job that it wouldn't have worked well if he did! I hope there's more but if not...it was still WOW! |
Eleanor Ariail 2008-11-29 . chapter 1That is incredibly awesome. There are so many really great parts that I couldn't possibly list them all, but the letters (and telegrams!) are adorable and really just set the framework for this beautiful story. I love any sort of disabled restored Ambrose, and you really did well with him here. I would love to see a sequel or epilogue! |
 ErinM 2008-11-29 . chapter 1I love you.
That is all.

Melanthios 2008-11-27 . chapter 1This is amazing. A lovely short chaptered fic with a focus on character--which I like. It's also the lovely sort of jarring, the OZ's mix of technology. And touches like telegrams being on blue, not yellow, paper remind me that this is not earth, however familiar it starts to seem.
Brilliant. Absolutely. And I like that the Ambrose/Cain could go either way. I've started favouring 'friends!' over 'lovers!' of late, with my favourite pairings, simply because it seems easy to make two characters fall in love--friendship, however, is harder. |
Glitchie 2008-11-27 . chapter 1That was sweet. I loved that no one was mad at Az, and the pig was great. I also liked how Ambrose used Cain's suggestion of taking off Az's door to get her out and about again. |
HobbitofRavenc1aw 2008-11-26 . chapter 1Aww that was soo sweet! Poor Glitch though. To get his brain back but lose his voice! (And he hed all the best lines too)
Glad to see Cain found himself a sense of humor |
