I'm glad I found this fic. You write Riley really well.

Very good. I've always wondered what happened to Riley after the disbanding of the Initiative major trauma, life's work gone and everything that he believed in, shattered. You've done a nice job of setting up his shell shock

Well-written but somehow feels unfinished to me.

I think this is one of my favorite Riley stories out there. Your characterization is perfectly nuanced; Riley's misery, self deprecation, stuborness is all there. You reveal his vulrnerablity without making him weak and give the audeience a better sense of Riley's strange mental state in the begining of season 5. bravo.

I am awe struck. This was a great story and flows so well. And I like that it shows Rileys side of things-he tends to get beat up in a lot of stories.

Very good P.O.V. for Riley. You gave him a lot of depth and personality and made his family come to life. Though a story without much action, except internally, it rolled at a good pace, somewhat dreamlike, but still moving.

Wow! This is a pretty good fic. I'm glad that someone has finally wrote a fic that's centred around Riley and doesn't totally dis him or kill him off! I hope you write some more!

Good fic.

Beautifully told. There's too little fic that really uses Riley in a fair way, and this is the best I've read. I love the way he comes alive in this story-his dreams, his pain, his confusion. It's one of the best character pieces I've read anywhere, period. And I really love his description of Angel"A dark, brooding, Byronic vampire-with-a-soul who can kick my ass and whose idea of perfect happiness is sex with my girlfriend." Perfect!

Very engaging. The author captures Riley's "voice" perfectly, and Riley's family and background are drawn in clear and extremely believable detail. And the writing itself is excellent. If you're a Riley fan, don't miss this one.

This is a great story. I read all parts and I just gotta say it's way well written. It makes me wonder about poor Riley and what must be going on through his mind. Thanks for the story. It helped me remember my sanity.
