This story is very sad and very interesting. I really like the language it uses and the understated elegance of the whole thing.

Beautiful, Jeannie, just beautiful. It was as if I was there watching it happen, and that's the best thing that any author can do. The description involved my senses and was refreshingly simplistic while still getting the point across. Your character development was excellently done, and your writing style was wonderful. I really loved reading this.

Oh my God. This was so, so cute. :D

I like how you described the rain, and why she liked it. I had quite an odd feeling reading those parts too, kind of like a tingly feeling inside, mainly because that's how I feel about the rain, too.

And Kira was so sweet :). Great ending, by the way.
