Tomorrows Dust 2008-12-03 . chapter 1Wow, very intense. Dean is so smart here, and so incredibly concerned for everyone. At the end, I could almost feel the weight of the responsibility he takes on ans what he will take on actually press down on me. Your writing is always great, but this story just really struck a nerve, very well done, you're fabulous ^^

Faryal 2008-12-03 . chapter 1 amazing! it made me cry. I love how Jim always gets his point across and how dean always gets his. The conversation was brilliant! Loved it. |
Trena81 2008-12-01 . chapter 1I've been wondering how much of what was currently happening in the series was going to make it into the AU. I'm excited to see what you decide to include and what you decide to omit. I tend to enjoy your AU more sometimes. I think that it would be fun to see when and how Jim finds out that Dean is the next Guardian. |
Supernaturals 2008-11-30 . chapter 1Aw! *Sniff* I know you didn’t mean this to be all tear-jerkerish but that almost made me well up in tears. Thankfully, I was at work, so I had to suppress the thought of sobbing my way into a thousand tissues. I love Dean with Pastor Jim stories, or Sam with Pastor Jim. When I reviewed your chapter for In Victus, I didn’t mean to sound so discerning, and nor was it meant to degrade a writer’s fantastic talent. I was just perturbed about what I had mentioned in that said review. I do hope you can forgive me, Rid. For I felt like I sounded a bit nasty there and my stomach churned slightly with mere guilt. I love Pastor Jim. You write what you believe in so well. :) I must also say that reading your work/s has helped me explore the writing world of my own :)

Nana56 2008-11-30 . chapter 1Aw. I certainly can see how a very young Dean, or even an older one for that matter, would feel that way and have those questions. Jim, as usual, is incredibly wise in his dealings with our boys. He has a tremendous responsibility as the Guardian! Also, typical of Dean that he trusts the human that he can see and touch rather than the angels that he can't.
Awesome fic, sweetie! |
tokie-pon 2008-11-30 . chapter 1Aw very cute story, I love the way it ended. Thanks for writing it! |
Lilly B. 2008-11-30 . chapter 1that was a great little story...thanks for writing it and posting! i really enjoyed reading it! |
LittleFairy78 2008-11-30 . chapter 1I love it each and every time that you manage to bring Dean and Pastor Jim into a conversation. It always amazes me how you manage to have these two explore the deepest questions of faith, life and death in their conversation and yet always stay true to their characters.
And this scene is no different. In fact, it's probably even more amazing because you manage to convey Dean's eight year old worries and doubts so credibly, and yet at the same time manage to wrap it up into a discussion that an adult Dean could have with Pastor Jim just as well.
I loved Dean's simple statement that the angels aren't doing their job, and that he'd rather look after Caleb himself. And even if he doesn't have any faith in God or angels at this point or later, he has enough fiath in pastor Jim to relinquish the watch over what is most precious to him to the man.
A wonderful little fic, thank you so much for sharing.

PADavis 2008-11-30 . chapter 1Love love love Dean and Pastor Jim, at any age really, but you are so adroit at children and their questions. And adults, like Jim, thinking they are boxed in. Beautiful story.

 alwaysateen 2008-11-30 . chapter 1Nice story. :)
I love the part where Jim realize one "precious lump" is missing and find Dean watching Caleb, so cute.
He's such a watchful protector even at the young age of eight, Jim made an awesome choice when he decided that Dean would become their next Guardian. :) |
mlaspike 2008-11-29 . chapter 1I really have no idea how you continue to write the most amazing and touching stories and they all make me feel like it was absolutely vital for me to know this. I feel like I should have known this part of the story was missing. They blend so seamlessly.
That story sheds so much light on how Dean would act after what happened to Caleb when he went on the hunt with the older boys.
I do hope that you continue to add Wee-chester fics along the way. They add so much depth to the other stories!
Thank you as always for sharing! |
 Morganeth Taren'drel 2008-11-29 . chapter 1That's a beautiful story! |
KatieLB 2008-11-28 . chapter 1What can i say i have an incredible weak spot for dean and pastor jim talks!! Love it very very much...great job |
spinningleaves 2008-11-28 . chapter 1Aww a great piece! I love the depth of Dean's questions and his need to protect. A true future guardian as a child, indeed! I especially love seeing Pastor Jim trying to say the right thing and anticipate a child's reasoning. Nicely done! |
 LovinJackson 2008-11-28 . chapter 1Hey!!
Loved this! I found Dean by Caleb's bedside totally adorable and so very Dean ... and there isnt many stories of the boys(caleb as well) this age so I love it even more. I loved the way Jim tried to handle the situation and what his end solution to Dean's bedside vigil was ... I cant wait for Cas to appear in the Brotherhood! :) But for now I'm looking forward to the stuff you still have coming :)
Awesome Job!!
