Beautiful story! I read a slightly different version of this at the Atheneum and I think I liked that one even better (maybe because it had a reference to Ares ), though I was a bit stumped as to who the "he" was. In any case, well done! Beautifully written and very moving - enough to overcome my bias against a Herc/Gab or Herc/anyone pairing. Bravo.

Have read it twice, and still speechless. Excellent is the only word that comes to mind! Brings the sorrow of FIN rushing back. Going to be hard to top this!

i like it it mentions no names which adds a mystery to the story. i hope you add to it.
