What is the big deal anyway? Oh he's a vampire! Well so Is Dracula, and I don't think you want HIM to bite you, do you?! Plus, he sparkles in the sunlight! Fairies=Sparkle, Mermaids=Sparkle, Unicorns=Sparkle. Vampires? Sparkling? I think not. Yup. A great big sparkle-y vampire runs up to me and tries to suck my blood. I'm just gonna laugh. Fang makes a better Vampire. Heck, so does Angel! Gawd, plus those idiotic girls who read Twilight think that they are smart because they read a book with like 400 pages. To bad the book has no plot WHATSOEVER! I don't think it counts as a book. When I read it, the basic summary is: Human girl, Vampire guy. Werewolf. Edward is hott. Fighting. The end. I mean, seriously, I think some people only become obsessed with it because everyone else it. Those are the people who have no mind, and the people who I will make watch as I poke Edward (the character. not rob, bc he is a good actor when he played in HP) with a wooden stake, and dump holy water on him.

Anyway, I love twilight, but I hate that guys assume I like it cuz I have an insane crush on Edward. What, I'm not allowed to like magical creatures that drink human's freaking blood? I mean seriously, Alice ripps off Jame's head. AWESOMENESS!
Anyway, I really like Victoria, and I don't think she's that bad. If Edward had been killed by someone after Bella became a vampire, wouldn't she have done the same thing?

I said I didn't mean to offend the true fans of Twilight, which I was one, a long time ago in 2005-2006ish. I just opened my eyes to other things to read and found it wasn't that great of a book. Stephen King agrees with me. :D

If you were honestly so offended by this parody of a fad that is taking over the world, you wrote an essay to tell me how much I suck as a writer, then I'm sorry. I didn't mean to cause THAT much emotional damage.

Look, I'm not reviewing to tell you what a horrible person you are. I respect your opinion of Twilight; it's not for everyone.

I just want to say that I think you are being very stereotypical. It's true, some people are way to obsessive, and just plain creepy when it comes to Twilight.

But that doesn't mean everybody is.

Because, honestly, not everybody thinks that. In fact, my friends and I acknowledge the fact that we are dorks. Reading Twilight doesn't make us any cooler, unlike what some fans think.

As well, I'd like to mention we were obsessed with books before Twilight even reached us. And just so happens we enjoy a good plot line and the fact Stephenie Meyer is indeed an amazing writer, putting aside it's Twilight.

And what's even more sad, is that you put all of the Twilight fans in the same boat. Sure, some are exactly as you described them, but not all. Remember that.

Maybe I am just like that, but too oblivious to realize it. But at least I respect people's decision to not read it.

And let me ask you: Haven't you ever had something you have loved or enjoyed so much that you'd ignore everyone else's coments and stick with it anyway? A sport, a hobby, maybe? Or what about a boyfriend/girlfriend? How would you feel if all of your friends openly mocked him/her despite the fact you loved or liked him a lot?

Even if you haven't, one day you will, and you're going to regret laughing at something you don't even know about.

The point is, in some situations, it's good to state your opinion. But in your case, it's just immature. You should learn to respect that some people may actually like something you don't.

I don't mean to sound condescending, but you are being very terrible.

And I'm not saying you should bow down and worship Twilight, I in fact think that is extremely stupid, just show some respect and think for a moment we actually might have feelings. 'Cause we do.

Now, maybe you really live in a place like you said, where there isn't any sane fan of Twilight. Then, I understand.

But I sincerely doubt that is the case.

This was funny, but I would just like to point out that those 'twihards' you portrayed were just steriotypes. Not all of us are insane, we just like the books. granted there are some strange ones that run around scratching their necks and asking people to bite them, but there are also ones that just like reading the books and know that's weird.

Um, something like this happened to me in an airport once. There I was, waiting for my flight with my dad, when suddenly a random girl with red hair runs up to me and starts proclaiming that I would be a perfect Bella Swan if my hair as longer and I had brown eyes. She then proceeded to skip down the concourse until she reached the nearest Starbucks. I just hid behind my copy of Persuasion in embarrassment. Um, scary.

Ha. That was actually really interesting. Funny, I used to love Twilight, and then I realized that there were people like this reading it, and I got bored with it really fast. Now it's okay, but I shake my head at these people who turned bonkers because of it.

It's like candy. It's good to eat, but you don't want to overload yourself. And these people eat way too much.

Anyway, I thought it was funny; I can totally see everyone reacting like that.
