I think Zim eating the brain was my favorite part, too. xD I don't think that part is anything to be ashamed of; I wrote a fic once where a giant flying penguin crashed through a wall and destroyed the entire town at the press of a button just because I couldn't think of a way to end the chapter.

Heh, the nosy cabbie was funny.
And Zim's request for a robot monkey. xD

Awesome. Again.
The little italicized bits in the parentheses kinda remind me of Stephen King. If Stephen King wrote about aliens. xD

I didn't find it disgusting/cliche/stupid/retarded in the least.
In fact, it was pure awesome.

This could be very serious and oh crap my butt's frozen to the roof! xD That scene was great. Well, actually, everything's great, but I especially liked that part.

XR, a family man, aw. ^^

That showdown was epic. I find the image of Zim actually eating NOS’s brain chip wildly amusing.

And that scene at the end – it’s so sweet, but not sappily so… it has the perfect timbre for their relationship.

That scene with MALIK and NOS was great – so much tension. I actually felt bad for her, for once…

And aw, Zim. I never thought I’d actually think of him as cute. ^^

How did you come up with all those words? That astounds me… It adds such dimension to the established canon and to your story.

Wow, that scene with Dib and Zim was intense.

I loved that scene with the Tallest. ‘Another freaking salute,’ XD

Oh man. Zim ate NOS's brain. I can so picture that. It looks a little like the Squirrely-Zim bit in Bestest Friend.

I officially adore this story. Zimmik is not only plausible but frickin' adorable as well. MAEK MOAR STORIEZ, PLZ. I like MALIK even more now, if possible. One disappointment: no more Dib? No Hawaii? Please tell me we'll see more of him.

The ending is a bit abrupt, but not too bad. Also, I think Zim is more IC in this story. The only thing that was a little OOC was when he licked his scars, but that wasn't too bad. The ZAOCR isn't bothering me. I feel kinda neutral about it, actually. Which I'm sure isn't the reaction you were going for, but oh well. At least she's not a Mary Sue.

Well, I must say your writing is quite good. Compared to the last one, this is a bit rushed, which you probably already knew. If you want to extend it at some point down the road, I suggest extending the 'robot zombie' scene into a proper 'vs. zombies fight sequence' - everybody loves longer, more detailed fight scenes. I also found myself waiting for a scene of Dib's arrival in Hawaii that didn't come - it's a little jarring to have Dib-centric scenes only in the first half of the fic.

Still, the fic was quite good, good enough that I'm definitely going to read the next installment and that between-installments oneshot, and I'm going to consider reading the earlier parts of the series (even though I'm not experienced with the fandom). I like where you're going with Zim - you've managed to expand his character without losing what makes him singularly Zim; you've done especially well in preserving his unique sociopathy.

Good chapter. You did make a small mistake, though: the Hawaiian Islands are actually in the Northwestern hemisphere.

So the next story won't have much Zim? Aw. But this story was really good, so I will be looking out for the sequel regardless.

I agree; Zim eating the robot's brain is wonderfully stupid and random. Definitely something he would do.
