I just realized I never did get the real review for this posted after you finished Only Second Best. Sorryyyyyyyy!

I liked this although I think the idea of adfult hood being achieved on a specific day a bit Anthropomorphic. The idea of maturation being the result of a calender change seems limiting. Suppose the puckworld race only became mature instead after some sort of physical metamorphosis?

Suppose it could be defined, but not prerdicted? How would that affect the teen-age psyche?

But this is a good and genuine attempt to portray an important moment, even IF some things negver change.
