HarmonyLover 2009-12-09 . chapter 1I've read this story before and have it in my favorites. I really think it shows Susan at her best, and I love that. She often gets the worst end of it in stories, I think, because she is so conflicted and because we know what happens when she goes back to England, but none of that means that she wasn't a good queen, or that she didn't embrace Narnia fully while she was there. We get to see, here, one of the ways in which she is so good at taking care of her siblings, and see how much she loves them, and that's excellent.
Cheers,

livingandthriving 2009-12-05 . chapter 1I think you managed to capture Susan pretty well there. :) |
Dragonscall 2009-10-12 . chapter 1That was so sweet. I think you pulled Susan off wonderfully. There aren't enough of these here. |
Taryn Streambattle 2009-08-15 . chapter 1I love the way you capture the bond between the foursome. |

 laily.spenstar 2009-02-03 . chapter 1Hey E!
Lovely, lovely story!!I love the way Susan watch over Peter as he sleeps. It's simply Peter to exhaust himself like that.I just love the way you describe each of the siblings in your stories.Wish they would put it in the movie.
Keep on writing! |
Wildfire2 2009-01-30 . chapter 1This was a sweet short story. I liked it, though honestly I wished I could read the story of Peter or Edmunds POV with him being sick. I imagine that's a fun experence, Peter worried wanting to take care of him, the servants trying to keep Peter away so he doesn't get sick and Ed most likly just ** off that he is sick. Sounds like fun to me.
Still loved this story though, thanks for writing.

MyBlueOblivion 2009-01-04 . chapter 1A beautiful little gem, my friend. This story has a wonderfully warm and gentle cadence to it, which was well in keeping with both its theme and the Queen telling it. I know that you find Susan something of a quandry to write (I find the same myself), but rest assured that you got her spot on here.
It's nice to see Peter resting... something he does far too little of, in my opinion. And I have to say that I loved the idea of the Narnian children's story. Maybe a story for another time? :)
Thanks for a lovely, relaxing tale, E. Bravo Zulu!

Narelena 2009-01-02 . chapter 1Beautiful story! I especially enjoyed the imagery and attention to detail in the setting. Thanks for writing! |
LucyTheValiant30 2009-01-02 . chapter 1That was so sweet! I really enjoyed it -- and dearly wish that I could be sitting beside Susan at that moment. There was a little tug at my heart at the end, knowing that Susan forgets about Narnia later on and thinking that she was really and truly happy there. It was a bittersweet ending.
Great job,

rolletti 2009-01-02 . chapter 1How did I miss this story? I was bored, just surfing through all my favorite author pages and found this little treasure. I absolutely love it. Even I felt at peace by the end. LOL Aw poor Peter carrying the weight of family and kingdom on such young shoulders without complaint and wearing himself out in the process. It's nice to see Susan as the gardian for once.
Thanks for a great read, E.
