It seems Mabel really missed her chance there. I really like this story. I'm not sure how better to put that into words. The story has a subtle power to it. I've no doubt I'll think on it from time to time. Thank you.

I wanted something to read las t night and grabbed a book of Grimm and Andersen tales.

I very literally read the Frog Prince and Faithful John (which I assume the bit about the banded heart was inspired) last night. And woke up with an email saying you'd posted this.

I very much like your version better seeing as the true ending to the Frog Prince was unsatisfying. I like Beau.
And I like how you tied the end together with Faithful John.
