Your Isshin made me actually (really, in real life) lol. The mistletoe's a tad overdone, there's a very good reason for that :) I recommend at least a little setting description though, so the characters aren't floating in la-la land. It doesn’t take much before your reader’s imagination will fill in the blanks, and that can make the story better for an individual :D
