oh my good god... i can't believe i just read that. damn. i don't know how long it's been since anyone has read this, but i'm certain that a lot of people are missing out on it - this piece that deserves to be seen by more than it has been. perhaps you should do something to bring it up to the top of the list. writing this quality is in short supply, especially femslash/shoujo-ai/whatever. even my muses (possibly the most scrutinizing critics i've ever seen) are impressed to the point of jealousy.

okay, i'll stop with the praise. but this is just so damn DESERVING of it! keep writing - you're excellent at it.

This was beautiful. I liked how you described people wanting to be Quistis and their envy for Xu. The wine parts of the story really added a certain flavour and style while Xu's yearning is characterized in quite a unique way! Can't tell you how much I enjoyed this piece!

Quistis is never going to get Squall (much as that saddens me to say), and all the Xu/Quistis pairings have me thinking maybe they'd be better together anyway. This is begging for some kind of sequel, maybe where they do end up together? But it is your story, and this is well, well done. Please continue.

You write her thoughts well, I like the reference to Centra red, and Galbadian White. A good story. Just one thing, "he” I thought Squall when I read it, but I'm not sure, if that’s right.
