A very good descriotion of how he remembered his wife. They didn't leave us very much in that show, but you worked with it.

You know, used as I am to your stories being so well-anchored in reality, with just the right combination of humour and flippancy and adventure and romance (also, mostly D/V!), I was completely taken by surprise with this piece! Well it may not be your usual style, but it was just as amazing nonetheless!

I particularly loved how you wrote Daniel's transitions between wakefulness and sleep. And of course his dream of Sha're was beautifully rendered. Sometimes I forget just how much he loved her.

Lovely, and bittersweet. I love the sleep/no sleep exchange, because that's sort of a metaphor for both the moment, and so much of Daniel's life at the SGC, where he's either trying to save her or trying to be worthy of her memory. Very nice. =)

Always thought it was sad that the first thing he did remember was Sha're, but then again it seemed to be the most important thing to him... still sad. Beautiful.
