Weren't Elle's parents killed by one of Esthar's first raids to Winhill? There're bullet holes in the house next to Raine's pub (most believe that to be Elle's house)? Didnt Raine just adopt Elle? Hahah, I dont know if that's actually the game's info... or just really good detail from other fics talking... But yeah, I dunno... I still think her parents were sacrificed and she was adopted... *shrug*

Re-reading that I realize it may not have sounded like it was meant. I'm sure that I missed talking to every last Winhill villager when I would play the game, since I was usually paying much more attention to Kiros. However, so long as it's not a point that's going to ruin things for anyone else, I'm going to consider anything that was said to the contrary bogus in my AU simply because I had enough trouble writing the chapter as it was and really can't face another rewrite at the moment ;).
