I enjoyed the discussion of Sonic's symbyosis with the chaos force that makes him Super. And a bit of Sonic Rush Adventure style 'the Emeralds have a mind of their own', as well.

And, there is, of course, the whole forgets-everything-else-and-is-focused-only-on-destruction PSYCHOTIC EVIL of Super Sonic to enjoy. :D

Could, I think, have done with more multisensory description. I think the only thing we have here describing sound is that the explosions were "loud". A bit of the ol' "Screaming winds rippling through brilliant golden fur" would not have gone amiss. ;)
