Great to see somebody taking one of my prompts, almost like a Secret Santa:-) I always like to see that softer side in Normal, as much fun his grumbling is.

The other bonus of this was Sketchy’s detailed perspective of the Pre-Christmas time in Seattle, his softheartedness towards other people’s suffering, to have him be the one discovering Normal.

And of course Normal would try to deny what he did, encountering Sketchy with the standard gruffness…

I like that you brought in the grittiness of post-Pulse Seattle from Season One that Season Two didn't emphasize. It's also nice to see Normal being used, he doesn't get much action in the fics. The solemn tone was well done. It's also sweet and festive at the same time. :)

Oh my dear. That was just delightful. I love Normal fics. There are so few of them, and he was just such an awesome and completely underutilized character. Great little Christmas fic. Hee, I love that he has to maintain the evil-employer facade. Great job!

I really like this. I love how you showed this other side of Normal; it's a bit like the glimpse we had of him in Freak Nation, delivering Gem's baby. Under all those derogatory comments lies a good man. :P I particularly liked the ending, as well as the fact that it was Sketchy who saw him.
