Excellent! I like to think of Heather as his friend, but tptb haven't given us much of that from the perspective of her helping him. I had hoped for that in LOATR, but they didn't handle it the way I would have liked--too ambiguous and therefore, creepy. And, yay! A happy ending. Thanks so much.

oh my goodness, somehow as I began reading, I never imagined that curveball of an ending...sigh...this was my deepest, inmost longing for Gil's departure, finding Sara willing to continue building their life together...from your lips to the writer's ears...A+ on yet another story that hits a bullseye...thanks so much for posting this very enjoyable read...
