Oh my God. I cried so hard. Especially with the letter. At the beginning I was confused, and then you explained and I was a mess. War takes away s lot of loved ones and I'd wish it'd just stop. You are an amazing writer, and this story was beyond sad, but it was also beyond amazing and lovely. (:

This fanfic reminds me of a mix between What Hurts The Most by Rascal Flatts (just as I was thinkin this WHTM came on the radio! lol), If Your Reading This(which was totally reinforced by the letter), Just a Dream by Carrie Underwood, Waitin on a Women by Brad Paisley, and loads of other Country songs! I was cryin so bad while she read that letter!.

LOL I made these notes as I was reading and your authors note at the end had me excited that I wasn't just gettin the wrong impression,lol.

i've read it about 10 times since you posted it and every time i read it, i cry.

I also added the songs that you mentioned at the end of the story, and those alone make me cry as well.

You know how to tap into people's emotions so well, i applaud you.

Do you think I'd have permission from you to possibly turn it into a short film of sorts? Its such a good story and would possibly be a good visual story. I know that if my friends "watched" this story, they wouldn't be able to not cry.

There's so much that I could say, I'm sure, but ultimately I just want to thank you for writing this. Technically it was wonderful, emotionally it was brilliant. And I'm just excited that you personally took on the task of writing something with this much depth. Really beautiful and amazing...
