Celebwen Telcontar 2009-10-14 . chapter 1That was incredible. I like how you melded scripture with fiction there. It's very well done.

CanonDoesMatter 2009-08-29 . chapter 1This story is fanastic. I honestly had to hold back tears at teh end.
when Shmi described the vigil for the lost I was reminded of the Kaddish, the Jewish funural prayers . Though I can not renember the correct order in which the different karishes are spoken.
Thank you for this wonderful tory. I will go off and read the rest of your work.
God Bless you

ciele 2009-05-09 . chapter 1very beautiful and mysterious--I haven't yet read a story about what Shmi's life might have been, and this was a great piece to start with. |
Blacknayami 2009-04-18 . chapter 1Nice nob with this fic, it was really well done! I loved the ending, and the meaning of Anakin's name was a nice touch. Thank you for posting this fic! ^_^ |
 FireChildSlytherin5 2009-03-21 . chapter 1Very nice story. I love it. :) |
frodogenic 2008-12-11 . chapter 1Wow--that was fascinating, and almost Tolkien-esque in a great many ways, all of them good. :) I don't think I'll ever stop admiring how you manage to create such depth even out of something as shallow and ten-year-old-friendly as TPM the movie was. What a fascinating and plausible religion for the Tatooine slaves. Exquisite.
I know I've said this at least a dozen times now, but you have such a gift! And what's more, you make me think about things that really matter. You are probably the only writer on this site about whom I can say that. Thanks so much for posting this! |
 TheMacUnleashed 2008-12-11 . chapter 1Beautiful story! Lovely details. : ) |
pronker 2008-12-11 . chapter 1What an elegant, lovely story you've crafted! I really liked the genesis of their faith and the whirlwind that got her Anakin. |
Ann Jinn 2008-12-11 . chapter 1Actually, I've read a lot of biographies and stories about religious thoughts and movements and this really is so well done. You also wrote with a tenderness about her.
The vigil for the lost, the ceremony with the cord was so moving. Living a fragile life of a slave, ie being sold apart or just disappearing there would almost need to be something to hold them together.
A great story full of a lot of thought and imagination. |
 Rya Likao 2008-12-11 . chapter 1Very interresting story. I like It. |
