Very nice! You did a good job at Angel and Doyle - they sound so real, but Cordy... she seems to me a little too nice for that time ;) before the visions and stuff... she used to be more... harsh, I guess. But then again, it worked out nicely in here.

"I can’t see the colors" - lol. And it was so cute when Doyle was afraid to face Cordy and so sure she'd reject him (again). Loved that part especially ;)

Hahahaha, Angel all concerned that she got bit. Well... She did get bitten I guess :)

I loved this story, so sweet but still very in character and believable. And pretty darn funny too. Angel's last line was just the right touch.

That ending was hilarious. I loved the rest of it but that ending had me rolling in the floor laughing. Great work. A truly wonderful tribute to Glenn, who I first saw on Roseanne and then started watching Angel because of him. (I didn't watch Angel after he died either.)

Sadly, I just started watching Angel, crazy I know, but I'm really beginning to like it. I've watched all of Buffy and own all the seasons, but strangely only seeing one season of Angel I like it better. Anywho's I was really upset when Doyle decided to be all heroic and save the day, just right after he got Cordy. Thanks for writing this, it should have been the way things should have gone. And it's a great tribute to Quinn himself. I was super upset when I read in your note that he has passed on. He will be missed. Thanks again!

OMG you are totally my hero right now.. I too found myself utterly boycotting that show (except for when Faith or Spike showed up cuz yum)after they killed him off. I know they intended to bring his chara back, but as we lost him.. I just couldn't stand it..

On a side note: "Doyle had pined for Cordy, Cordy had pined for designer clothing…" brilliant job summing up the prior relationship so well.. I bout died laughing!!

This was exactly what I needed right now. It's been a long time since I read a story in this fandom (and I really don't read a thing in this fandom that doesn't involve Doyle) that felt this right. I love the slow build up of Cordy and Doyle's friendship most of all, Cordelia's growing realization that this was a guy she could trust and a guy she genuinely liked. It's such a refreshingly honest take on fanfic. The vampire catalyst for Doyle's demon side was really well done (I envy anyone who can write a decent fight scene) and Cordelia's reaction to the demon side was something I haven't seen before but feels incredibly in character. The scene with Angel at the end was a priceless bit of comedy. I'm really glad I swung by to check out this fandom.

I know where you're coming from with a lot of this stuff. Doyle still remains one of the mose interesting and unique characters around. And Cordy/Doyle, years later is still the only ship I really cling to. I first saw Angel around the time GQ died and I think it was the only time I ever cried during a television series. Thank you for such a beautiful story. Like I said, it was exactly what I needed tonight. I really hope to see more from you, and if it's Doyle fic, that's just a bonus. THANK YOU.

Thanks for this. I too thought it was a bad idea getting rid of Doyle, and when I saw notification of Glenn Quinn's death it made me very sad. I know it never makes up for someone's passing, but at least in this fanfiction his character is still alive, and happy. Once again, thanks.
