I love that both Harry and Tom are given the chance to be happy children in this so far wonderful story. I do hope that Padma will soon come to realize that her Harry is basically dead this new one is growing up loved with a family and no dark lord wanting him dead. I am looking forward to more of this wonderful story.

I seem to remember that there was some more to the next chapter of this story a while back. Did you ever do anything with it? I really like this story, and would love to see some more of it.

You should be nice and set it as complete .. I almost skipped it because I didn't want to read an incomplete story..

What a lovely idea to start a story from. I'm not sure if i ever have seen something similar done before. And you've taken your premise, ran along with it and made a phantastic story out of it, making the unbelieveable believeable. Tom Riddle repentent and a good nice boy! Even Neville and Hermione do work fabulously as married couple although i'm not sure that that has been ever done before, too. Harry and Padma... Hmm i think i would need more about this, it's just so cliché-y to bring him together with the exotic beauty (Fleur or Gabrielle, both Twins, Tonks, Luna... all women very well fitting this trope to the max) without there being anything really connecting them like common interests or similar character traits... But okay, still better than Ginny i guess.

The first two chapters were great, but your third topped that off by far! The fight was a good element to show their dynamic and the reactions of the teachers (and parents) only improved on the impression. Ending it with a nostalgic Milly Bulstrode is almost a stroke of genius and a work of true beauty. Funny that she seems to be the only adult at the castle who does not know who the two really are...

But then... i hope her little House meeting has quelled this shit-talk once and for all... I'm already sick from all the "mudblood", "Squib" or "blood traitor" blabbering from "original era fiction", to see it still going large circles 5 years after the spectacular destruction of Voldi-Lord (and with absolute certainty there after getting known by the general public that HE was a Halfblood, Snape was a Halfblood and Potter was a Halfblood, robbing two of three major factors of the war (Snape as the breeder of proud little pureblood spawn in the old Slytherin house of course) of their "street cred" by exposing their pureblood beliefs as pure lip confessions without real creed or legitimacy behind it and giving the third all the more notoriety for overcoming his presumed "superiors" in status, power and experience).

Oh and shame on your for even hinting that Dolores might have somehow spawned some fresh toadstool, that's a whole new level of disgusting! And so sad that this slimy blood-supremacist-bitch has survived when so many good people had to die in the war *sigh* But now i'm depressed, i must think back to Millys little excurse to get happy again!

Is there any plan to some day write a bit more of this? I'm not too much fan of "childrens generation" fics, but this is at least not Epilogue compatible and therefore promisses a lot of independent thought and intriguing concepts going into it's development. And of course i'm dying to find out what Padma and Luna are really planning to do in India, the hints were quite heavyhanded in their last discussion before they came to Hermione to say Good Bye... Another experiment to de age themselves about fifteen years? Yay... young Loony back at school sounds like fun to me. Regrettably Padma seems not to realize that when Harry lost his memories over his newly assumed young age. she will probably do the same and therefore have no more knowledge of being so desperately in love with him and she would have to find that love a new from scratch, probably a year behind the Longbottom kids and their friends (so let's call it the Ginny and Luna position, both had seemingly no romantic relationship to the boy who would have won)

This was really awesome, I absolutely love the idea of Tom and Harry being friends. Thanks for sharing, your writing is great and I hope there will be more to this story someday... and even if there isn't, what you have was great :)

It would have been amusing. And what about Dumbledore going back in time to prevent Gindelwald from leading the war, and Tom Marvolo Riddle from hating muggles?

Riddle had been saving a special spell. Casting it would probably kill him, but he would take Potter into death with him.
