I just spent the last three days re-reading this story straight through. I think that makes three times that I've read every chapter, because I read it from the beginning when it was first published and have visited it often. I love this story and still consider it to be the best bleach story I have read on FF. Your story holds up even when reading straight through, which is an accomplishment. I've read stories where individual chapters were good, but the overall story arc didn't hold itself together. After close inspection, your story still works.

I love all the changes we see in the main characters. Ichigo the punk becomes Ichigo who doesn't understand what he wants and finally Ichigo who knows what he wants but isn't sure that he can get it.

I love the fact that nothing is easy. Isshin's moment of indecision as far as operating on Rukia is a perfect example of people making choice that don't always work out in the long term.

Tsukasa in your story is such a tragic figure, especially where you have left it, knowing his love and yet not being able to claim her.

All of the parental figures making choices for the children is so frustrating and yet it is that very tension that I love. I think that this time around I saw more of Rukia's silent declarations of her attachment to Ichigo in a more romantic sense. Of course we have been in Ichigo's head, but not her's. Rukia calling Ichigo Inoue's boyfriend was very painful, on several layers. 'Maru's perspective was wonderful... I could gush for days about all the things I love about this story. The last intro notes mentioned that you thought this was getting too long and that maybe you should make a sequel. Why bother? I am not intimidated by a high number of chapters because in the end I would still read the same amount it would just be two stories instead of one. Anyway, I'm writing this review in hopes that you will will irresistibly drawn back to this story and compelled to finish it. I sent you a personal message a bit ago. I'm not sure what RL threw at you, but hopefully this story will be finished someday.

This chapter is your most balanced yet. It has HYD, BLEACH, DomTsu, IchiRuki etc etc.. heck even Kon got a piece of the limelight(you know, I'm half expecting him to cry out "Nee-san!". he so adorable in the manga, way better than on anime.) Maybe this chapter is really long or maybe I've read it first on paper rather than my internet browser?hmm anyways...

I thought you're going to give us another depressing chapter, it's good to know you tried to ligthen up the things bit.

Your cutscenes are amazing in this chapter. Each can stand on its own yet they still have a common ground so they didn't seem off. And each has a its own conclusion, except the last one... it was bit of a cliffhanger.

I'm really suprised how fast the story progresses. I was expecting those two would stay in their condition for several chapters, and like Tsukasa, I was expecting something dramatic they were brought out of it. But I like it, way better than that million-dollar baseball which was thrown at his face during his um "welcome back" party in the manga.

You're starting to recreate the HYD world though it was a bit slower than BLEACH. Well for BLEACH your story is considered as an AU so it has to be fast, while for HYD it's an alternate timeline. I'm excited.

Of course let's not forget my favorite character of the chappie: Rukia-chan. Weird eh, despite the fact you haven't use her perspective. She's so Rukia in this chapter. Her cuteness, resignation, determination... I just love her character.

oh my gosh.. the end part of the chapter got me a little worried for a while there.. hmm.. so tsukasa's finally remembered huh? *sigh*

I wish that you'd make Rukia a bit more expressive... The OC's get on my nerves sometimes as well, since they don't seem to truly affect the story beyond allowing you to flex some modern-day-ish-ness into the story. Really, good work, but could you put in more Ichigo/Rukia interactions?

Did you know that you've made me smile, frown, gasp and cringe while reading this chapter? The cringing part came when you started explaining the medical technicalities...

And Rukia still sticks to Kurosaki-san... poor poor Ichigp. This means no IchiRuki fluff for sometime, poor poor readers(or more precisely me)...

Good character development here, it's great to see Tatsuki finally moving on though Orihime had made a big mistake here. Kaede returned to her evil ways. Tsukushi finally coming to terms on her feelings.

As another reviewer noticed this... this chappie has Keigo moment. The last one was after the Sodeno-Rukia fight though it was in Tatsuki's perspective. She mentioned that it was Keigo who saw most of the fight... or maybe it's just me.

Which reminds me what happened to Aniki and Tsuki?

Oh I had just finished the HYD manga, I hope you don't include that annoying girl at the hospital, I hated her...

All the events before Tsuakasa birthday occured right? Or maybe you can give an exact chapter at which point the Bleach people entered the scene? I hope you won't mind. Most of my expecations for this story will be based on you answer... hehehe


Speaking of birthdays...

I found out that Tsukasa's b-day is on January 31 while Rukia is on January 16? but that I'm not exactly sure... In your story Tsukasa party occurred first then Rukia's but birthday celebration can be held anytime right?

Overall great chapter. Each scene has captured my interest.

i missed this fic! great update!

Aw.. there goes my heart breaking for Ichigo again. ha ha.. Really great chapter. It's so well written and it's great to see how everyone is being affected by the changes in Rukia and Tsukasa. It's kinda funny because with everything that's happening, it almost feels like watching chess pieces move in a chess match.. if that makes sense.

Anyway, Orihime was particularly frustrating (with me shouting in my head - "Say SOMETHING!" ha ha..) but I can understand where she's coming from. Plus, things sort of got out of control soon after. Also, the idea of the use of Hogyoku to repair damage to the bone is really interesting. I'll be curious to see if that plays a bigger role later in the story.

P.S. If someone could smack Kaede silly, it would be much appreciated... tho, I guess they'd be vaporized instantly after that.. but it COULD be worth it. ha ha..

Gah! I KNEW it! Kaede's so selfish! Great chapter, once again!! If Bleach wasn't already owned by Tite Kubo, I'd advise you to publish this!! This is really good! Dang it!! Orihime just complicated things!! SHE'D better be the one to tell him what happened instead of him finding out through someone else. She really should have tried a bit harder to clarify/rectify things. Also, since WHEN is Keigo so quick on the uptake? He's usually the idiot! XP ha ha!! I guess Keigo can have his moments...
Call me weird for saying this, but I kinda liked the dark intro (reminder?) for Hichigo, you so subtly placed in this chapter. I just like your style of imagery altogether!!
And finally...
KYAH! Ichigo's finally starting to admit to himself, and a little bit to others, his growing feelings for a certain raven-haired girl! I loved that! Just a wonderfully well-rounded chapter. Great work!! I DEFINITELY look forward to your next chapter!!

Really, great story. Your writing is very good and even though it is mixed with another manga I can still understand what is going on (I actually looked up the series and read the first book :))

About the most recent chapter...I thought that it was good, but I feel so bad for Ichigo!
And maybe it's just me, but how Domyouji now takes the whole marriage and excepts it was a little odd. Just how much did he forget? Though I bet Domyouji's mom and Byakuya are happy.

'Mi-chan! So sorry for not reviewing the last few chapters!! I didn't have internet at my house for the past couple of weeks!! These past few chapters are awesome, as always. Yay!! 'Kia-chan's awake! Dang, both Rukia and Tsukasa are suffering amnesia. Is it just me, or is Tsukasa playing into his mother's hand without even knowing it? This is just TOO perfect for Kaede's agenda. I hope everyone recovers their memories soon! One thing did come out of this though, we get to delve deeper into Ichigo's psyche and see tidbits of how he's feeling or at least starting to feel. I EAGERLY await your next update!! I can't wait to see what happens next. Keep up the marvelous work!! Update soon! This story is AWESOME!
