You are most certainly brave to write a Kanda/Tiedoll fic (I'm too chicken myself even if I love the Momos stories with these two in them) and you certainly nailed it. I have to say I really liked how you little bird theme in with Kanda (it really does suit him when it comes to these two). You did an awesome job conveying the simple understanding the two have when it comes to Kanda's curse and the way they comfort/look after each other (each in their own way). It was sad to see Tiedoll somewhat fading away at the edges though (being a general has got to chronically suck), but I did love the way you made him fuzzy, like the warm feeling in your stomach you get when you're loved (and that's what Tiedoll is…a giant hug *grin*). Awesome writing and story. Loved it!

...

Can I, can I just propose to you now? Oh my god. I think you're the one, Kuro.

XD JK, of course. I can't ask because neither of us have been to college yet and we have to be sure we have solid careers before considering a commitment like marriage (yeeah...that's the reason XD). But seriously. I need to had "a love for TiedollKanda" to my long list of qualifications for people I'll spend the rest of my life with.

-vibrates violently-

Now...to the story...

Kuro. Honey, you not only did me proud, you blew me out of the water. I must step back and give you the throne of TiedollKanda-ness. That was POSITIVELY gorgeous. The mood was SO amazing...your choice of adjectives was so precise and excellent (all time favorite had to be "drifty" in a description of Tiedoll. I'm going to get a tattoo of Tiedoll of the word "drifty" and a picture of Tiedoll under it. XD). Your probing of Kanda's conscious was excellent too. I saw so many elements of my stories in here (like the birds! :O OMG) but you just showed them with such a Kuro flair...you totally made them yours plus there were some unique Kuro elements practically oozing out of the story as well. The birds though...f-ing awesome. You pwned the motif like I have and never will be able to! XD

The descriptions were STELLAR. I totally felt like I was with them (in Tiedoll's lap, to be precise -shing!-)I think the most wonderful descriptions were Tiedoll's little snapshot ponderings about home though. :) So sweet. So French. So artsy. God, I love him.

Now. The best part. The plot! XD THAT WAS SO FLIPPING CUTE! XD I pretty much squeed myself into oblivion when I read the part where Kanda drew the little pen mark! That's such a cutesy Kanda thing to do! They're like a college student and a professor having a relationship only not! XD (sorry...that analogy fell in on itself XD As they so often do...)AH! Kuro, you have the best plots ever! It fits so nicely into the little world of Tiedoll Kanda we've created! I do so hope that you'll continue to contribute! -hugs- This was simply beautiful!

Favorite line had to be:"It was this type of cold dry comfort that only Kanda could provide." It made me hold my heart and angst for a few minutes. XD THAT is, in a nutshell, how I feel about this duo as a pairing. It's part of their completion. :) Someone soft on the outside and hard on the inside (perhaps) and someone soft on the inside and hard on the outside (fer sure). :)

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Next time I like someone, I'm going to draw a dot in their hand. XD So hard core.

A thousand thank yous for the gem of writing, my love! :) PLEASE WRITE MORE (the caps are intentional...it is a thinly veiled threat...-vibrates violently-)

To be truthful, I was vaguely freaked out when reading the summary, mainly because I always Tiedoll will always be the wrinkly, old father figure to Kanda. HOWEVER, despite what my concience was telling me, I read it anyway, purely because I would never pass up a fic by you. :3

This was, in fact, a pleasant surprise! You pulled off the amount of physical contact very well, and the dialogue was (As usual) just plain perfect. The occasional metaphors you snuck in were good too. Two thumbs up!

That was actually quite lovely...

I don't really support this pairing because of some moral issues I have against it, but this could totally be taken as a father-son relationship. (If you took out that one line, of course. XD) It was written with simple language, a simple plot, a simple situation, but it worked so damn well! Even if I don't support this pairing, I loved it! Gosh, I hate you and your marvelous descriptions and subtle metaphors. _ Not to mention your wonderful plot bunnies. How in the world do you get such simple, but effective ideas for fics?

I think it was a great, no, more than great for a first-timer. Love it very much and I think I should go back and read some of the other fics you posted before that I didn't get a chance to read or review. I'm so bad... XD;;

Thank you for writing as always! This left me with a warm, tingly feeling inside. Please write more!

HI KURO-CHAN! ToT

OH MY, SO MUCH TIME SINCE I LAST COULD READ ONE OF YOUR STORIES! I promise I'll get through all of them on Christmas holiday, right? It's just that the Uni is being a little hard XD Too much work

But since I knew you had never written some Tiedoll-Kanda I just came to read it kukukuku

It came out just as perfect as all the other things you tried! O I wouldn't have put so much physical contact between them, but you sure did it look OK and natural, so it really fits the situation.

I agree with Yu, green-tea is the best / far sweeter and nicer / (I'm a tea addict xD)

I loved the descriptions of Yu eyes here and there, you really are a pro in writting Kanda hahaha And... My fav part, as always P

"“How long did you wait for me?”

“An hour.” He lied and they both knew that it was an outrageous lie because he had indeed waited there for almost five and not only did it start to rain did he walk back in, body drenched in the cold rain that people hushed to be God’s tears.

“Pourquoi? I remember it was raining yesterday too.” He furrowed his eyebrows, the corner of his eyes crinkling as he gave a small shake of his head.

“I went in before it started to rain.” He turned back to the man, his General and assured him.

“I always do this to you, ask you to a walk, only to never show up because something came up or I simply forgot…” He shook his head as if in self-blame.

“…It doesn’t matter, Gensui.”

It was this type of cold dry comfort that only Kanda could provide."

I really have to leave now, sorry! I have to clean the room and do a Linguistics work ToT

Until Christmas ToT! I'll have to read quite a lot hahahaha

Kss!

It's kinda funny 'cause 'pourquoi' sounds kinda like 'porque', which is 'why' in Spanish, so I kinda got what he said. :D

And yeah 'お茶' was easy to dicifer. XP

this was great! I liked it a lot!

Ahahahahaha! It was so cute- I loved the way you describe things in the story, it has this nostalgic sense to it yet very... I don't know, I can't find the word for it yet... But all in all, it was beautiful, GAH!
